Now Sonisphere Festival has been and seen. It was a good festival until everything just went going wrong. Let me start my story from the very beginging.
We left to Pori on Friday evening. After the hard 240 kilometres the clock was something around 7 p.m. when we arrived to Pori's downtown. We parked our caravan at some parking place which was 24h free and the best thing was that the parking place was just in front of Kirjurinluoto. There was tens of caravans parked all over the downtown even though there was own camping place rented for the caravans. It just was too pricy for some people like us. It would have costed over 200 euros for us to sleep at that camping area from Friday to Sunday.
We arrived Pori day before the festival began. What we did on Friday evening? Well we played cards, listened to music with my old friends Toni and Joni who were there also and then we also played at Pelle-Hermanni (in English it is Clown Hermanni park) park.
Then Saturday came. The gates opened 10 a.m. but we were at the area right after noon when Stam1na started the whole festival. That kind of thrash metal isn't for me but luckily Perttu Kivilaakso (from Apocalyptica) saved the gig when he came on stage and played with Stam1na their last song.
Then Negative had their gig. It was almost like from my childhood but without Sir Christus.
Serj Tankian... What can I say? Again not for me but my friends liked the gig.
From The Cult's gig I don't remember anything so maybe that tells everything from it.
At Apocalyptica's gig I made new friends. There was a man in his thirties with his girlfriend, mom and dad. The dad and mom came to see Alice Cooper. There was lots of retired persons. I was really surprised. I could say that there really was the 'true fans' of Alice Cooper and Iron Maiden, the fans who have been fans since the bands have exist. I had many good conversitions with those fans so thanks to you all strangers.
And before I stop to remember Saturday I must say that HIM isn't a band which should be on the stage. The gig was so awful. Ville didn't even remember the lyrics of Wicked Game. On the radio they sound good but not live.
Then Sunday came. It was nice sunny warm morning and day until the evening was coming. But not yet of the evening. First the day.
We didn't listen to Insomnium and Profane Omen 'cause no one of us isn't for that kinda music. So the first gig we went to see was Anthrax's gig which began little over 1 p.m..You can't describe the gig. It was so good. The dudes knew what they were doing. (And Belladonna was so good-looking!) One thing I must say: I've seen better mosh pits. But I'll never forget the gig.
Once again I didn't watch the gig of Finnish band Mokoma. It's one of those crapy Finnish thrash metal bands.
After Slayer's gig the thunder storm began. Behemoth's gig was begining at the time. It was a huge storm even though it lasted only 10 to 15 minutes. It was pouring, thundering, blowing and hailing and there was also a tornado. The t-shirt tent flied in the wind right above us and almost hit us. The tent flied over 50 meters to the toilets from the entering gates. It was pretty scary storm even to the finns who are used to that kind of storms. 40 people got hurt but only 4 got hurt badly and needed hospital treatment and all of them are just fine now. Sonisphere was in the eye of the storm.
The storm ruined Iggy And The Stoogies' and Mötley Crües stuffs so Crüe cancelled their show but Iggy playd 4 songs for us acoustic, 4 the biggest hits of his. It was pretty rough gig and I liked it. Iggy was even though joking about the accident like how all the electronics are exploding some day and every band have to play acoustic. The road crews were building Alice Cooper's show at the back of the stage while Iggy was on the stage. The time table was over 2h late from the orginal one.
Theatre Of Death was awsome. You really should not miss Cooper's show. It just takes your breath away. The show priced the long waiting and so did Iron Maiden's gig as well. They were my very first Cooper's and Maiden's gigs and I'm very pleased that I saw them both now atleast. Those guys really know what a good show means and what fans want to see on the stage. By the way Bruce Dickinson said that that gig was their best gig in Europe and in Finland ever. So it must have been more than good.
It was over the midnite when Maiden ended their gig and then we started to make our way to home. The clock was over 5 a.m. when we were back at the capital area. Long way to home. We all were tired after the long weekend but w were pleased as well after great gigs, great people and crapy jokes we told eachother.
I could take it again. Maybe next year when Crüe promised to have their gig.

Boys Are Back In Town
It's been over a month since I wrote here last time. So what has happened to me in that month? If I'm honest I'll say nothing has happened. Really. July and the end of June were so quiet that it almost scares me. My summers have ever been this quiet as this one is. Well there's been few highlights I admit them such as Mariam's first visit at my place, an adventure at Hietsu's market place and... I guess there they were.
There hasn't been any gigs or festivals for me which is kinda sad. I would have loved to go to Ruisrock but I didn't have the money. And ofcourse Ozzy Osbourne and Slash weren't playing on same day.
Enough crying now. Less than a week and then it's Finland's Sonisphere Festival at Kirjurinluoto, Pori. Yippee! I'm really looking forward seeing Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper and Anthrax. I've seen Mötley Crüe already so... But as they say the second time is already a tradition. I'm hoping that 69 Eyes will have better gig at Pori than Sauna Open Air. That gig was so awful and terrible and everything between that. Have the guys become old?
After Sonisphere it'll be only a week to Ankkarock which is in my home town Vantaa. Ankkarock will be the last highlight of my summer 'cause right after it the school starts again. And once again I'm gonna be very fresh in my first day at school. I'm waiting Sunday 15th day ;)
What would be a summer without COB's gig? Hahahahahahaha xD

Canada's Gift For The World: Anvil
You just gotta love Anvil. You can't hate them. Lips is so cute and Robb... I was like a jelly when I met Lips, Robb and G5. Once again my nickname came true: Jellyfish. You should've seen how Lips' and Robb's eyes almost popped out of their heads when I asked them to sign my Back Waxed LP cover. I think they didn't guess that they'll sign LP covers at these days anymore. Hahahahaha x) Everyone else wanted to their singatures in their new album (which is a CD btw).
I'll never forget Anvil's very first gig in Finland. I was in the front row right under Lips' nose. I think I was the only lady in the front row but I had lots of fun there. Lips smiled me like a pedophile many times and played many guitar solos just for me (yeah, really. Don't you believe I was the only person in that gig?). Robb's deadbeats were unbelieveble. His playing technique was just great! He wasn't rusty at all. His drums sounded so damn good that I can hear them still after 24 hours which is pretty good from a drummer.
P.S. I was badly disappointed at Tarot's gig. They really didn't turn me on. There could be two reasons why it didn't happen 1) it was raining cats and dogs and I was fuckin' freezing or 2) They really suck nowdays. I don't really believe in the second choise. The setlist just didn't warm me enough.
P.P.S. Anvil is the second band ever which have played my favourite songs in their gig. They played only 1 new song few ''newer'' and the rest was right from the 80's (<3). The first band which played almost my every favourite songs was Guns N' Roses in year 2006 at Hartwall Areena, Helsinki.

This summer is even crueler than I thought
The first day of Sauna Open Air is behind. Today is the second day of it. Yeasterday was awesome! Thanx to Mariam with whom I saw KISS for the very first time. We didn't even wait for the gig and still we managed our way in the second row right in front of Gene.Pretty cool, huh? Like we always say 'Don't wait for gigs 'cause you're still gonna be in the front rows when you're with us'. I hope Mariam enjoyed the gig as much as I did.
Steel Panther rocked also. They've got so much energy and their songs fit in Finland's summer in some ways. The top of their gig was their encore. They played just one song in the encore. I must say that I went almost nuts when Michael Starr said that they're gonna play Paradise City. It was almost as good and crazy as if it was played by GN'R. The orginal one.
The 69 Eyes' gig sucked and badly. I've never seen that bad gig from they. So I'm not gonna talk about it more.
Back to KISS. They really blowed my mind. I didn't expect that they would be in good shape but their condition was lot better than most of the bands which have a long carieer behind. I'm glad that they didn't play some festival gig. It was just like if they would have been playing at some huge arena. They did all their wire tricks and had lots of pyros. The gig was visually very impressive and beautiful. It was totally once in a lifetime gig. You don't wanna be disappointed in their second gig 'cause it not might be as good as the first one.
As I said before today is the second day of Sauna Open Air which is a three day festival. Today I'm gonna party with Anvil and Tarot. Then I can die happily again.

It's Cruel Summer
The rock n' roll summer has began. Again one year school is left behind and few more are ahead. Maybe someday I'll be something or just some dude who's unemployed. Sounds like a plan, doesn't it? Can you believe that I really passed all my courses? I didn't have to retake any of them! I'm so proud of myself that I can't describe it in words. But maybe you get it or not.
I can't wait 'til Thursday! Then begins a three day festival Sauna Open Air. I'm gonna be there all those three days and see KISS, Anvil, Ratt etc. I really look forward to see KISS and Anvil.
Why it isn't Thursday already? I'm gonna go crazy cause of the suspension soon. When Sauna Open Air is over I'll start to wait August and Sonisphere festival and Ankkarock. I just don't wanna think that far 'cause my school starts again day after Ankkarock in 16th day. That is so depressing. I just have to think something else now. The school just ended today and I'm already thinking when it starts again. I have best brain work of all time. I know it. Now on my brain will hang on a rack and I'll only think am I a turnip or a cabbage. Wanna join me?

Labor's Day Eve
Yeasterday was Labor's Day Eve - just one reason more to get drunk. We had ''a huge party'' at my place. There was only me and Kapi. It was very intimate and way too much fun for us.
It was nice to see Kapi again 'cause we haven't seen eachother for while if we don't count Monday when we met quickly. Long distances suck. It takes too long to get from eastern Helsinki to western Vantaa. It's almost like travelling from side to side in some country. But now we're only talking about two different cities.
Maybe we should get back to Labor's Day Eve. Well there's not much to tell for outlanders 'cause our party was pretty much inside thing. Remembering old lame jokes, drinking, how we could been knowing eachother ten years already?, make-uping eachother (it's the main thing in Labor's Day)...
Kapi was almost too wasted hahahahaah xD Man she has a bad booze head 'cause we drank same drinks and I wasn't even drunk! Poor Kapi. She's still so small. <3
P.S. Does someone wanna buy me the newest Image magazine? I wanna laugh hard.
"Mä oon hukkunu kerran" <3

Be Chrool To Your Scuel
This week we got back our exams. I got my philosopfy, chemistry, healthcare, English and Swedish exams back. It wasn't a surprise that I got the best grade in philosophy. Guess where I got the worst grade. No, it wasn't from chemistry though I made the exam without good sleep. I left from COB's Tampere's gig straight to back to Helsinki to make that exam. I got the worst grade from Swedish. I can't believe it! I thought it went so well but still I passed it. That was the main thing. This time our Swedish's teacher didn't yell to us that we're her worst long Swedish readers' class in 30 years. Really cheering I know but we must understand her. She had a cancer almost 5 years ago.
How can my Swedish's grade go lower and lower exam by exam? I just don't get it. Min svenska är ganska bra men mitt betyg är andå dåligt . Varför? Ansvar mig tack.

I Like To Call Myself An Artist
Yep, another week behind. This week had just few highlights. Kinda sad though.
#1 I read Otto Grundström's anthology Tähtiotsa. Maybe I expected too much from it 'cause it didn't give me such a kixes like Tehosekoitin's lyrics which are written by Otto Grundström. After that hard disappointment I began to read Jim Morrison's anthology The Lords And The New Creatures. That's the Finnish version so the poems lost much but I'll get the main point I think. Morrison's poetry is kinda deep but still bit strange in someway. Hope this anthology doesn't give me such a disappointment like Tähtiotsa did. My expectations are high again 'cause we're talkin' 'bout Jim Morrison here.
#2 My arts curse began again (yippee!!!). I've had three lessons now and in every lesson I've been singin or listening to Annihilator's Brain Dance. That song really tells about me and how schizophrenic I am really. And ofcourse my art. Why I haven't realized earlier how great band Annihilator is actully? I've missed so much of these musical orgasms again. Let's not talk about this more.
#3 Yeasterday we had a some kinda grand opening for summer after a long, long, long and too cold winter. We barbacued first time after summer, drank (water) and even sang karaoke. Old Finn Shits (read hits) from the 50's to the 80's <3 We had lots of fun ;)
#4 After the real party yeasterday we went to the sauna. If you want to go to our sauna you must go outside and then enter the bathroom. Yep, it's not connected to the other house. So me and my sister had a romantic sauna moment after the midnite after that when we were ready we tried to come back inside. Guess who had locked the door to inside and didn't have the key to unlock it. Yep, it was me. So we had to go round our back yard to the front door where we have a working door bell. The ground is still too cold for walking without shoes. Or it is just when it's pouring. Don't know. But thanks to some higher power and to those who hadn't closed our front door when they left the building.
#5 I finished my Swedish essey: En guidade åktur i Helsingfors.
Why anything never happens to me? You have 7 day in a week and there's nothing to happen but some studing. How poor your life can be?

Guess who's smelling worse than bad?
Yep, the right answer is me. Why? Well last night was COB's gig at Pakkahuone Tampere. Pretty sweatty gig.
I can't stand how goog targeting Alexi has! Again he snotted right into my eye and I wasn't even on the front row which is the first time that it didn't happen. So I smell like shit, sweat and have some snot in my eye. Shower? Well maybe I could take a shower soon. But first I have to play a little fan girl again.
COB played Kissing The Shadows and Chokehold (Cocked N' Loaded). Rest was the same shit as always. Nothing new but those two songs. They played only two songs from Blooddrunk which was more than good. Yeah, they played Blooddrunk and Someday You Will Cry. That album has better songs too like Roadkill Morning.
What else? After the gig I went to Ruuti who gave be bed n' breakfast without the breakfast. Who the hell eat in the middle of the night caramel (ham) icecream? What? We didn't have anything better to eat then. Then I went to bed and sleep with little Jasu bear. I had a dream where was Jasu talking about his back surgery and on the background was playing Cinderella's Don't Know What You Got. That was pretty funny.
And now that song just keeps playing in my head.

Long, Long Way To Go
Pretty soon. Anytime now my drawing will be ready. I just have problems with the background. It's so empty and I don't wanna colour it just with black. I wanna make something special which crowns the rest of the drawing. So I have to put my brain to work hard now with a cup of coffee.
And now the necessary crying and blaming. Last evening we talked about music and somehow our subject turned to Blackie Lawless (and I didn't mind it). I even got new information of him. I didn't know that Blackie should've been playing T-1000 in Terminator II. Yeah, I was a little fangirl when I thought how Blackie destroys Arnie and rides to the sunset by his Harley Davidson just like in Wild Child's music video. Since that minute I've just been smiling stupidly and been listening to W.A.S.P.. And Time to time I've been staring at my posters of W.A.S.P..
Okey, this update is so pointless. Why I even made this? Well done is done. Don't cry.

Happy Easter Then
Does anyone even relly read these? Well whatever. I'm still gonna write these little updates of my life.
Now it is Easter break. For me it started on Wednesday already 'cause I had a day off from school on Thursday when all the rest were taking exams. I'm not jealouse for you guys. My testweek will contiune again on Tuesday. Swedish test <3 Hope it'll go better than the last one.
This Easter break has been pretty interesting even though I had to make a milkshake to my grandpa yeasterday. Btw it tasted good. It was vanilla chocolate milkshake.
I even made a new tradition for our Easter. We're gonna watch King's Children Of The Corn on every Easter now on. It's enough religous for me and the kids even crucify people in the movie. Good idea, eh? I also watched Stand By Me 'cause I hadn't seen it for a long long time. It still made me laugh like hell.
"If I could only have one food for the rest of my life? That's easy-Pez. Cherry-flavored Pez. No question about it." <- This quote is like from my mouth.
Who wouldn't love to watch little boys lives with such a humor?
At the end of Friday evening I promised to draw a realistic pic of Michael and Doro. My Master of Evil and Queen of Metal. Pretty good combination. I haven't drawn anything realistic awhile. Last drawing was on my fall break last fall and that was Quiet Riot's cover art of Terrified. So it wasn't that realistic but the pic I'm drawing now looks pretty cool at the moment. I've finished scetching at the night and now I can start drawing all the little details. I just can hope that Michael likes it also.

Happy B-day Kapi!
This week has been too terrible and too dry. Thank god it'll be over soon and then the test week begins. I love it so much.
This week's only savier was Kapi's birthday which was today. I met new people who were Kapi's friends. We went to for a dinner to McDonald's and had a real candle dinner there. Then we went to see the new Jennifer Aniston's movie, The Bounty Hunter. I must say I've seen better comedies than that one. But it was better choice then The New Moon.
What else? Well we're gonna take over Tuska Open Air's Sunday at the gates. WASP <3 See you at there dudes.
P.S. Do you know how much it does piss off if you aren't able to see one of your favourite bands only 'cause you don't have enough age? Well I can tell the answer: a lot!!!

P.S. Do you know how much it does piss off if you aren't able to see one of your favourite bands only 'cause you don't have enough age? Well I can tell the answer: a lot!!!

Good Morning Headache
Yes, I had a great idea. Now I'm writing about my little student life in English and Finnish. Maybe some day I'll write in Swedish and German also. Let's see how long I'll be able to write about my really interesting life here. And now everyone is asking why I'm doing this. Well the answer is pretty simple. I love to irritate people and here I can irritate people by telling about my life. About my dull student life where never happens much.
Have I ever told how much I hate Mondays? Well I can say that I hate them more than you can ever imagine. I hate them more than eyebrows which look like bushes. On Mondays never happens anything except I have a terrible headache. I'm blaming the vinegaracetum. It smells so bad that it makes me headaches. Damn I hate chemistry.
P.S. Do not think that I'm a bastard 'cause I don't care.
